Because of WDI's exemplary safety and compliance record, the company was the first in the nation to secure environmental liability insurance for a hazardous waste landfill facility. An on-site commercial laboratory is available for your analytical needs.

In addition to accepting bulk and containerized material, WDI has the ability to accept material by rail.

On-Site Wastewater Treatment

Landfill leachate is treated on-site at our own dedicated waste water treatment plant.

Landfill Gas Recovery

WDI operates an on-site electrical generation plant that uses methane gas from on-site closed landfill cells to produce electricity. This electricity is then sold to the local utility. Wayne Energy Services has been in operation for over 20 years, making it one of the longest running landfill gas recovery systems in the nation.
